SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services towards the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed with regard to the substantial number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is here to reach-out to the higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office committed to service the area regularly. The services level made for intervention ordeals a superior inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it tough for your office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more means to empower the servicing of all prospects and enhance use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency status sassa said.
